Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled/Division 2 Nursing)
Description
This program will provide you with the essential skills and knowledge to work as an Enrolled Nurse in a variety of health care settings, such as public and private hospitals, or in the community. You will learn how to implement basic nursing care, assess clients' health, and analyse health related information.
Learn how to administer and monitor medications, and care for older clients, acute care clients and people with mental health conditions.
In addition, you will develop effective communication skills and learn how to work within legal and ethical parameters in nursing.
Upon successful completion of this program, students are eligible to apply for registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
Students successfully completing this qualification may be eligible for employment within private or public hospitals, domiciliary services, aged care facilities or medical clinics
Requirements
Completion of Year 12 or equivalent with sound achievement in Maths, Science and English recommended. Mature age students are welcome to apply.
