Graduate Certificate in Clinical Nursing

Graduate Certificate in Clinical Nursing

Description

The Graduate Certificate in Clinical Nursing program is aimed at developing clinical confidence in decision making and the enhancement of clinical skills and knowledge in the Registered Nurse as an advanced beginner. This will take place through the provision of structured clinical rotations, skill development and technical knowledge enhancement, in partnership with The University of Notre Dame Australia.

This is a full-year program. Classes are as per the organisation of the graduate program by the respective health service. Students should discuss their study program with the health service course coordinator before commencing. The assessment of each unit is variable and will depend on individual graduate programs. Students will be able to graduate from the University of Notre Dame Australia.

Requirements

The program will be available to students who have a previous Nursing degree or equivalent. Students must be, or eligible for, registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. International applicants must obtain, or already have a current visa, work permit and offer of employment from one of our health service partners prior to enrolment.

Applications will be available from the health service coordinator in consultation with the University’s Post Graduate Coordinator.
