HLT40307 Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice

Description

Got healing hands? Apply your magic touch through massage – and prepare for a rewarding and unforgettable career.

This course introduces you to a whole range of massage techniques like Swedish massage and deep tissue therapeutic massage. An in-depth knowledge of massage techniques is backed by a solid grounding in the health sciences of anatomy and physiology, pathology, and symptomatology and diagnosis. Practical massage skills are put to the test via hands-on demonstrations and massage treatment of paying clients.

To progress your career even further – why not enrol in the Diploma of Remedial Massage?
A Day in the Life

Being a Massage Therapist gives you the rare chance to relieve tension with the gentle touch of the fingertips. A thorough chat with your client informs you of problem areas, and provides the vital clues necessary to devise an effective treatment plan. It’s not long before the treatment really comes to life, by using any combination of healing remedies – remedial massage, reflexology, shiatsu, trigger point therapy and exercise therapy.
