Neurodegenerative disorders are increasing in the Australian population. Combined with an ageing population, it is expected that prevelance of those people suffering from neurological discorders will continue to increase over the next two decades. Continued medical developments and increasing technology means that clients suffering neurological disorders are living longer and in response to this, nursing must continue to keep pace in caring for those with disorders including Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Epilepsy, and Alziehmers.
On completion of the Graduate Certificate, it is expected that graduates will have developed knowledge, skills and attributes for advanced practice in the are of neurodegenerative disorders. In addition, the benefits of this course include:

Applicants to the course will be required to:
* Be eligible for registration with an Australian Regulatory Body
* Hold a Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) qualification
* Be employed or have access to a clinical setting.

3. Clinical Therapeutics - Neurodegenerative Disorders
4. Neurodegenerative Conditions and Care.
