Chelsea & Westminster NHS Foundation Trust is an acute teaching hospital with 2,800 staff, located in Zone 2, South West London. The Trust is also one of London’s largest providers of children’s services, caring for more than 8,000 children as inpatients and more than 30,000 as outpatients every year.
Opportunities have arisen for experienced Neonatal Nurses, to join our busy Neonatal Unit. The Unit is a perinatal referral centre, consisting of 38 cots, 12 of which are designated for Neonatal medical and surgical intensive care, with in-utero and post natal transfers from throughout the south east of England.
This role entails providing neonatal nursing care for intensive, high dependency and special care infants and their families including assessment, planning implementation and evaluation of allocated babies. The post also entails co-ordinating the high dependency and special care areas, with support from the Unit Coordinator. Additionally, you will be required to supervise junior grades of staff and mentor new staff, as well as pre and post registration students, as required.
In order to be successful in this role you will be RSCN/RN (Child) / RN/RM qualified and have the Neonatal Specialist Diploma or Equivalent. Additionally, you will need excellent teaching, teamwork, organisation and communication skills.
Geneva Health is working in partnership with the Trust to recruit a number of experienced Australian/NZ NICU Nurses for permanent positions within the Trust.
Salary ranges:
NZ $62,900 – $83,200
AUS $50,339 - $66,545
