Barwon Health has Fuji PACS/CR and Philips digital x-ray rooms. There is a new emergency department x-ray facility with ceiling suspended x-ray systems across 4 resuscitation bays, and 2 dedication x-ray roos - CR and DR.

Other equipment includes Philips Brilliance 256 iCT, Siemens 1.5 and 3.0T MRI, Philip iu22 ultrasound systems, and PET/CT (to be installed this year).

As the Radiographer you will manage and lead the diagnostic x-ray service across all Barwon Health sites. This will include the supervision and training of staff in the operation of all CR and DR x-ray systems. It is also expected that the successful applicant participate in the 'ABC roster' and spend at least 80% of their time rostered to x-ray. There is a team of radiographers in the general x-ray area that includes Grade 3 & 2, and tutor radiographer.

The successful applicant will be entitled to up to seven weeks leave per year (plus ADO’s) and Salary Packaging.
