Physiotherapy – MMC Moorabbin

The Monash Medical Centre Physiotherapy Department is currently a seeking a physiotherapist with experience managing lymphoedema and oncology patients to join the multidisciplinary team.

This position is responsible for the provision of services to oncology related lymphoedema patients, as well as pre and post-operative, preventative, educative and clinical treatment of breast cancer patients within the MMC Breast Services Unit. There may be opportunities for managing inpatients on the oncology ward depending on applicant’s experience. With responsibilities for junior staff and student supervision this position is part of the Women’s Health stream within the MMC Physiotherapy Department.

Based at the Moorabbin campus, this position will provide opportunities for leadership and service delivery development as the site focuses on developing as an integrated cancer centre. Involvement in quality assurance and opportunities and support for research are part of this position.
