We have a unique opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to be part of the Inpatient Orthopaedic/Amputee Rehabilitation Teams located at McKellar Centre, Geelong.

Barwon Health Occupational Therapy Service promotes and provides leadership and excellence in clinical practice, clinical education and in research and development activities.

You will be a valued member of a multidisciplinary team, being one of 11 Occupational Therapists working within the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility. You will be responsible for the supervision of a two Grade 1 OT’s and an AHA.

The caseload encompasses inpatients, primarily adults with diagnoses of joint replacements, fractures and lower limb amputations. The strong multidisciplinary focus allows the opportunity to work closely with medical and allied health staff. Your dedication, innovative thinking, and excellent communication skills will be invaluable attributes to the team. Previous experience in orthopaedic rehabilitation is highly desirable.

Barwon Health provides Acute Care (Geelong Hospital), Rehabilitation and Subacute Care (McKellar Centre) and Community and Mental Health services to the populations of Geelong and the South Barwon region.
