Westmead Private Hospital, owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, is a tertiary level 140 bed teaching hospital which includes a 27 bed maternity unit with an annual birth rate in excess of 2,000 births. We deliver women with low to moderate risk pregnancy in a supportive environment. We are a friendly, progressive and dynamic team looking for someone who shares our enthusiasm to join us in our expanding Maternity Department. Family friendly rostering can be accomodated with varying shift lengths between 4, 8 and 12 hours.

Registered Midwives

We are in need of experienced clinicians who are keen to team lead in Postnatal and/or Birth Suite.

Endorsed Enrolled Nurses

Experienced Endorsed Enrolled nurses with substantial Mothercraft background are required for Postnatal and Special Care Nursery.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

* Registered Nurse with the Nurse & Midwives Board of NSW

* Recent clinical experience with the ability to provide high standard of clinical care in the Maternity Unit

* Strong positive interpersonal relationship skills

* Neonatal resuscitation skills

* Midwives - CTG interpretation skills

* EEN's - Mothercraft skills
