RN/Midwife Div 1 Special Care Nursery Perm part time Night Duty

Frances Perry House (FPH) is a centrally located 93 bed hospital that has a busy obstetrics unit managing over 3000 births annually. Co location with The Royal Women’s Hospital brings with it support from medical staff, theatre, and Neonatal Intensive Care, which is unique in a private setting. This allows FPH to admit high risk maternity patients.

FPH has a strong history of providing high quality care for premature babies, sick babies and their parents. Special Care Nursery admits approximately 400 babies annually and has the Royal Women’s Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit on site. The Special Care Nursery is a 14 cot, well equipped, high acuity unit.

We are looking for staff to join our great team in caring for and supporting our very special babies. This role is an ideal opportunity for someone who has the following:

Essential criteria

* Previous clinical experience in Neonatal Intensive Care and/or Special Care Nursery – Is motivated and enthusiastic

* Has great communication, interpersonal and customer service skills

* Works well as part of a team

* Good problem solving skills and the ability to prioritize work within a busy Unit

Desirable Criteria

* Neonatal Intensive Care Qualifications
