Royal Hobart Hospital Construction About to Begin

Royal Hobart Hospital Entrance The federal government announced yesterday that construction for the $565 million dollar redevelopment of Royal Hobart Hospital can commence prior to the end of 2010 after they finalised an agreement with the Tasmanian Government to contribute $100M, with $50M to be paid in early December which facilitate commencement of construction work. The Tasmanian government has indicated that it will apply for a further $240 million under the Health and Hospitals Fund regional priority round.
