Visas and Work Permits

It is necessary to organise work permits or work visas to work in Ireland and there are several options available:

No work permit is required for European Economic Area (EEA) Nationals

Registration with the Irish Nursing Board (An Bord Altranais) is mandatory in order to practice as a registered nurse or registered midwife in Ireland. All overseas application requests must be made in writing and only one application form per written request will be issued.
